[MA/BA] in EON ERC: Design of an Embedded Hardware Multi-Agent System for Energy Management at House Level

Multi-Agent Systems
Agents have been used in a broad variety of different tasks to work in complex systems and achieve goals together. They can be seen as an intelligent, advanced machine or software with an infinite number of states. Each agent is equipped with different sensors to gain an overview about its environment and also effectors, which are the agent’s tools for executing tasks. They’re also capable of communicating and interacting with each other in a union called Multi-Agent System (MAS). With all this information the agents are able to make decisions by their own, which could be directly executed by their effectors or communicated and discussed with other agents to reach common goals.

Your tasks:

• State of the Art Literature Review on Agent system technology and its fields of application and architectures
• Designing a new embedded hardware-agent PCB based on an already existing hardware design
• Implementing software functions and drivers on this new designed hardware for the application as an energy management system
