At Silexica’s new Cologne headquarter, we are currently seeking an Embedded Systems Intern (m/f) to help our engineering team with the project "Processor Modeling for Performance Estimation" for a duration of 6 months. We offer you the exciting opportunity to become a part of a team of pioneering designers of tools for multicore design.
Tasks:
- Analysis of architectural features of different processor families
- Performance measurements on different boards such as Freescale/NXP B4860, Freescale/NXP B4240, Adapteva Parallella, Odroid XU4
- Evaluation of performance estimates and identification of inaccuracies
- Continuous development, debugging and testing of compiler infrastructure
Desired Skills and Experience:Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field.
- C and C++ programming
- Fluent in English
- Good communication skills and problem solving capabilities
- Passion for your work, desire to learn and a team player
At least two skills/experiences of the following list:
- Assembly for commercial processors (e.g., ARM, x86, PowerPC, TI DSPs...)
- Bring-up and programming of embedded development boards
- Computer architecture
- Compiler construction
- LLVM compiler Infrastructure
